new paint....

so she's had a repaint, the seat had some small marks that were driving me mad, and there was a mark on the fairing, so it's all been done. the grey I've changed to satin black, and had the front mudguard done as well... I fitted a new MRA screen as the other one had a scuff mark, the belly pan.... hmmmm, I'm super undecided, the paint-shop guys did a nice job, as the quality is pretty poor, and none of the others seem to fit with the Laser headers, so I'm kind of stuck with this one... i just can't decide if I like it or not

she's had a bit of a strip down with the shocks serviced, new fork seals and a general clean under the body work... all the fluids dropped and she's all set for the spring time..

I've toyed with the idea of the rocker covers being black as well, but I reckon it may be too much.

I'll have to wait until the snow melts before I can get it out of the barn and have a proper walk around... that's one of those cuppa tea and ponder kind of moments...

Looks good. I'm undecided about a belly pan for my newly acquired 1200S. Standard headers so not sure what I can fit. There's a belly pan from Hoernig (I think) which looks good but is bout £350 in GRP. Spent enough this week!!!

...stock headers match the AC/Schnitzer belly pan...

this one fits with the stock headers, Eyore has the same on her humbug bike.. she like me had issues with the GRP quality and as I said in my post, my paint guy ain't talking to me anymore! Ro-Lo has the Schnitzer pan, which again is a nice part and probably finished a whole lot better than this one. but it's cheap and with the Euro knackered against the pound at the moment, won't cost much to buy... then you can buy your paint guy extra beers to sort it all out after!

Perhaps Eyore can chip in here and explain more, maybe a picture Kim?

cheers

this is the one Dave, it is as I said not the best finish in the world, but with a bit of prep it looks pretty good, just make sure the paint guy paints inside so you don't see the bare GRP. my guy did the inside flat black... the plate that they send you to go on the front, I mounted on the inside as it looked horrible on the outside..

cheers
