Hello Chaps,

I finally took some pictures of my bike, you can view via the following link:

http://photobucket.com/albums/a111/AJBurt/The%20Big%20Banana/

So far most of the work done on the bike has been cosmetic 8) ; UK Boxer cup Belly pan, Tinted screen, white indicator lens’s, 5.5” Rear wheel (180/55 tyre), fender extender, K & N, Laser Boxer Cup Exhaust system and chip (nice and loud) :) and two K100 Duo Tone horns…very loud :D

Still thinking about Air induct and up-graded shocks…or should I save for a K1200S or wait for the R1200S...Hmmm…decisions, decisions! :?

Hope you like the Pics, regards

Andrew

Cheeky.....it's been on the road twice in the last year alone :D

I have to admit, it hasn't seen so much action just of late, but I'm of to Normandy on it for a boys long weekend in early October, and I hope to see you guys out and about in the near future on some down south weekend jaunts....so long as it's not raining of course

Cheers

When in October and whereabouts in Normandy are you going? I'm on a long weekend with the boys from 6 - 11 October staying in Arromanche for 3nights and Lyons La Foret for 2 nights.

Andrew

We arrive in Arromanches on Thurs 6 Oct pm and head off elsewhere on Sun 9 am, so could possibly arrange for you and your group to meet up with us if the others are up for it. I'll send you a PM with my mobile number

Nick,

It was great to see you and the other chaps the Saturday; we all enjoyed our day out "lost" in the French countryside :D . On the Sunday we rode down to Mont St Michel, very fast, and looped back through the peninsular to Carentan and Utah Beach and then back to Port en Besin. I trust you had a good day in Rouen. Please pass on our regards to the rest of your party and hope to see you all out and about again in the near future. Let us know when your next out on a jaunt!

Geoff,

Nice to hear from you again, I’ve been following your movements on the site and am glad to see the duck tapes gone, even if your bike is DDP.
Couldn’t help myself with the wheel, just had to have the 5.5”. I don’t care what anyone says, there’s no substitute for size…just ask the missus  Can’t say I noticed too much difference in the handling though…but it certainly feels more powerful…or is that my ego :D . If you’re ever down in the area again, pop is for a drink; it would be good to see you again.

Regards

Andrew
