LED tail light

Postby R-man » Thu Jul 12, 2012 12:12 pm

Great job! From the pictures I reckon the unit I bought has around half the LEDs so puts out much less light than yours. I took the easy and 'spensive route 53,000 miles back and have had no problems - but I do wonder how much longer it will last.

Your alloy sheet method must be good for soaking away heat, whereas the electrical connector on mine looks like its been ahhm, quite warm!

When the day comes, I will def follow your lead - thanks.

Errr! mine has got a clear lens and one of those LED things that just pops into the bulb holder. I have done 43k on the bike and it was there when I bought it and it's still working.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
