In the continuing strive for a 1200s that's as comfortable as a Buell Firebolt.

we have move from my ass - see comfort seat please topic - a success.

to my arms, i would like to bring the bars back, maybe 20 mm or so but not rise or lower them ala Heli bars.

so i was wondering about these ....

Not heard of those, but I've heard good reports about the Rapid Dog variety (http://www.rapiddog.net/)
I'm sure somebody with first hand experience will be along shortly.....

They look like a good quality piece of kit for reasonable money. Ideally someone has fit them to give a definitive answer. I have the Barbacks on my 1100s and i'm pretty sure they don't fit the 1200.

IIRC Heli bars could be fitted in the horizontal plane aswell as the vertical, that would give you the 20-30mm closer position, but would there then be a conflict with the tank or at least your hands, shall have a look for you tomorrow.

Btw I've got Heli bars fitted to my 12s.

Heli Bars work great and I have them installed on my 12S.

Rapid Dog units only work on the 11S.

Cheers

+1 on helibars. They look like original equipment and provide a useful alteration to the riding position.

Rox risers are usually fitted to the GS or GS Adventure. Good quality kit.

Test rode a KTM Adventure with them fitted, too far back for me, but they seemed really good quality.
