As it says; what you've done to your bike and how it helped make it better.

Mudguard bling, innit

Postby Boxermed69 » Fri Nov 22, 2013 5:03 pm

Due to a little [ahem] mishap I needed to replace my front mudguard prior to heading off to France in September. Best part of £300 for a new OE one - I think not. Into 3 figures for a decent used one. £45 for one in a worse state than mine! Unearthed this little beauty from Zero Limits, a UK company. Proper CF, finished nicely, with holes in the right(ish*) places. Had to wait about 6 weeks - probably made abroad - but for £120 delivered I was happy.
* I must add that, once fitted, it wasn't perfectly aligned wrt the front wheel - I guess one/some mounting holes aren't in exactly the right place. It's no biggie and I can live with it. When I'm next fiddling with the pointy end I'll try to correct it.

Seems a good price. I have an Ilmberger fitted and that isn't a perfect fit. The original has two little cutouts where the bolts go. I used the plastic parts off the original where the bolt holes are so the bolts went in at 90degrees
