Its not as bad as it sounds as most of the bits have come from ebay or here and i have had 2 1100s since 2002 and have built the parts up over a long period of time. and all the parts i had came out of the crash i had in 2003 without out a mark. so i sat on the floor at my local dealer with my tolls and a big box of bits and returned it to standand trim ,then when i found a replacement it all went back on.

What difference did you notice when you fitted the 5.5 inch rear wheel as I am on course to do the same myself.

I did not notice any really change in the bike but it opened up the route for some sticky tyres and it also improves the look from the rear. it did not seem to slow the steering but with the ride height up 6mm on the ohlin and the torquearm on it shortest setting it tips in very quick anway.

frosted blue mods

Postby Gripper » Mon Feb 26, 2007 10:38 pm

What an amazing list of mods! I too have an '02 SS and I want to chip it up. I have a remus Y pipe already. Is the BB chip worth the cash? Which single engine mod made the biggest difference to filling out the hole in the (standard) mid range torque? Also, where can I get an adjustable torque arm to raise the back end?
Help and advice greatly appreciated!

hi to be truthful like most people here say its the compete set of add ons that work the best not just one or two. the bb chip was the way to go for me because i picked it up cheaply and i did not want the expense of the pc3 . the bb works well for my bike but it really is up to you. try this link for the torque arm.
