Pure eye candy.........well I think so anyway. Its a 998 S which is as light as a feather, is dripping in carbon fibre, titanium, forges Marchenenis, Termigonis, and Ohlins everything.

recently bought myself a 996S Bip and just done the mono seat treatment.
beautiful looking bikes

Nice one .Hard to believe how tiny they are after a R12S or after most things really , about the same size as a supersport bike.

video it on your phone and then stick it on youtube. then paste the link on here. it's a doddle. upload the video onto your pc like you would a photo and then just select it when youtube asks for the item you want to add. you'll be alright, and if it doesn't work don't worry.

I have 5mm of foam on the seat but the advantage of a well endowed female bottom. Needless to say evidence will not be provided :lol: :oops:

I had the pleasure of a 999 for a summer, and feckin' loved it, Only problem was it didn't make sense until it was doing 85, but that's maybe just me :twisted:

That's ok, for me nothing post 998 lights my candle. Then again for me this bike is less about riding it than about what it represents for me both in the pantheon of Ducatis and motorcycling generally. Then again Honda SP 1 and 2s are about as interesting to me as a Berlingo van. Meet you later in Room 101. :wink:

The 916 derived bikes are still, nigh on 20 years later, the absolute pinnacle of bike sexiness.

I really, really want to get one - I reckon anyone sitting on a tidy example today is sitting on a cast iron investment.
