not new

Postby exoticices » Fri Aug 12, 2016 12:47 pm

Not a new Boxertrixster nor a new Boxer but a new one to me.

First proper run out today and it got the pillion seal of approval.
The bike handled really well with a pillion on board.
Engine and Laser cans sounded great.
Throttle worked as a throttle should, unlike the remote feeling of the R1200S.
Gear changes nice and slick.
It had that boxer 'endurance' feel - that smug superiority that you're going to beat anything to a destination that's more than 2 hours away!

It's the 'S' model - it doesn't have the ashtray!

And it's flat out from me, and it's flat out from him...
