Waiting for the SNOW to melt.

Postby R11Sman » Thu Jan 12, 2017 2:18 pm

Folks,
Just heard about this site and can't wait to to begin searching through all of the available information. Been riding since 71' and my current and BEST BMW is a 04' R1100S. A little over 32K on her (can't really ride year round in Syracuse New York) and I've added a few of the custom touches that make it better for me (RD Barbacks, peg lowering, cat delete, Sargent seat, ect). Bike came with BMW tankbag and System cases.
Bike shares a stable with my 59' Square Four and the wife's 77' CB400F.
Cheers,

Gone but not Forgotten

Welcome on board, and happy browsing. I'm sitting in the UK waiting for the snow to hit... there could be as much as half an inch, which is enough to make the country grind to a halt

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Welcome along R11sman.

1/2 and inch of snow Paul? I had best get down to the supermarket and start stripping the shelves.

Urgent travel advice:

SOUTHERNERS: Due to the risk of heavy snow, ice, blizzards, high winds, only travel if absolutely necessary. Take gloves, scarf, snow boots, food, flask of hot drink, blanket, shovel and torch in the boot of your car. Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged up.

NORTHERNERS: You might need a coat!
