Finally - I too succumb to owning a R1100S!

Postby bajaru » Wed Feb 09, 2022 7:36 pm

Hi All, just saying hello and to say that I finally got around to buying myself a Dakar-Yellow R1100S :D I have been toying with the idea of ownership for a while now but always missed out when the opportunities presented themselves. With this, I expect there'll be more questions and stories about this boxer as I learn to live with it.

Welcome on board! Have you got any pictures of the bike to share with us?

All the best,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Hi dobbo, I'm based in Perth, Western Australia but the bike currently lives in a mate's shed in Brisbane. I bought the bike just from pictures that was posted online and after my friend giving me the nod after he inspected the bike. The bike had to be dakar-yellow because I already own a dakar K1200RS. I will certainly post pictures when I get to take them myself one day. :D
