Hi guys,

New R1200S owner here based in Suffolk.

Got the bike a week ago but had my first ride today, very happy with it.

It's done 12k, and has Ohlins, wider rear wheel, heated grips, rear seat cowl and a few extras - carbon huggers, tail tidy, tinted screen, smoked indicator lenses, Rizoma frame covers, and exhaust and heatshield painted black.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions so look forward to chatting with you all :)

I'll get a picture up once I've resized it!

A couple of pics :-)

I only passed my test last December so limited in experience but really enjoying the BMW so far. I had a KTM RC390R first and then bought a 1999 Honda VFR 800 which i still own, I sold the KTM and replaced it with the BMW. With the dry clutch and relatively low rev limit I find it more car like in operation than the Honda if that makes any sense.

I had a corvette (C5 manual) before deciding to focus on bikes, which also had plenty of torque!

Thanks! Yea I guess it is to some! I've owned more bikes before I passed than I have after I passed so far! The mat is from my old Ducati 748 SPS, I kept it as I'm sure I'll have another Ducati to put on it at some stage, I will get a BMW one for the R12S soon and correct this issue lol

It is a standard exhaust but both the silencer and the headshield have been refinished in black.
