newbie back to boxer

Postby nortonjock » Thu Jun 14, 2007 11:04 am

Hi Guys,
After lurking for some time thought i should come clean and introduce myself.
I used to run boxers and enjoyed the GS 11 and GS 1150 and GS 1200. I went to the dark side and had a k12r which was fab but just too easy to go too quick on. (Mad as a box of frogs)
Back to twins and now have a R12s which is just the perfect blokes sportsbike
luvin it.
Cheers

had the silver k12r which was pretty good - only concern was the amount of very complicated items to go wrong esp suspension and brakes.
Have the non abs braking on the r12s and ohlins which I much prefer.
Cheers nortonjock

You are always Welcome for a ride out, we normally meet at Kinross services and head north form there.

Hey NortonJock,

Welcome to the group :thumbright:

You don't give much away about your moniker, but I assume you are interested in or own a Norton (and don't look, or act like Graham Norton)? :dontknow:

A pal of mine lives in Cambusbaron and has a Dunstall Norton (rumoured to have raced in USA) and my old Daytona 650.

Any chance you can join us in Pitlochry for the weekend coming up, or a Saturday/Sunday blast?

A welcome from me also. I work in the Stirling area, so if you see a black 12S groaning under the weight of a fat git ignoring the new lane markings at Springkerse, give me a wave.
In hiatus from motorcycles.
