Oh No!!! Another New One!

Postby FalcoDog » Fri Sep 21, 2007 7:00 pm

Greetings from across the pond. This looks like a great site!

I've been riding bikes for quite some time and currently I own an '07 R12S (sport package in black) and an '03 K12RS (SE package in blue and white).

Most of my riding these days is on the back roads of Kentucky "TWISTIES" so the R12S gets most of my attention lately. I hope to tour the UK some day by bike and really want to ride Scotland.

Looking forward to contributing. I'll try hard to behave. :)

Welcome and enjoy. Let us know if you make it over here, Plenty of folks to meet around the UK whom would be only to happy to ride with you I should think.

Regards Peter.

Welcome FalcoDog.

I've never been to Kentucky, but I have eaten vast quantities of Colonel Sanders' chicken in my time . Enjoy your time on Boxertrix.

Cheers,

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Kentucky ay? Isn't that the capital of Canada? I know a guy in Kentucky: Harland Sanders! Do you know him? Ooooh, sure you know him. YOU MUST KNOW HIM!!!

Here's a pic:

Well, even if you don't know him: welcome on board.

A few things:

1: Kentucky is not really the capital of Canada but all Canadians secretly want to live there. :)

2: Fried Chicken is Great!. KFC, no so great

3: Although Kentucky is part of the United States, it is not a State but a Commonwealth. I don't understand that one either. :?

4: Kentucky is a lot like Scotland, only it's drier, has more trees, it's
warmer,...................................come to think of it, Kentucky is nothing like Scotland except the people are great and talk funny. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Welcome, to the site, FalcoDog.
Having done the Scottish Highlands tour myself last year, I can be sure you will enjoy it. Superb, largely traffic-free roads, great weather (and cr@p weather) and the kind of scenery which demands to be photographed. About every half-mile. And the welcome we got was warm and friendly everywhere. Definitely recommended!

Have fun
Steve
