New joiner I'm Gareth from portsmouth and I run an 1150GS. Thank you to that nice Scottish lady that told me about the site, when a wierdo (me) wandered up to her in Tesco's and asked her if her gaitors worked in the rain! Hope you + hubby have a good time in the sunny!? south:-)

Welcome Gareth, so you meet Gail and Rob?

When are you going to buy a 1100S/1200S then.

Hi Gareth,
I'm just down the road from you in Denmead and I've got an 1150GS as well :D

Don't know their names, but they were down here visiting from Scotland, guess it must have been :) I did look at and test rode the 1100s. but I found the GS was kinder an my wrists and back....though its a better looking machine! The unconventional looks of the GS has grown on me over the two years I've had it though.

Hi Gareth
welcome to the forum. I am the scottish lady you met in tesco  waiting for a ferry and couldn't resist one last shop!!!

Recommend you have a ride out with these guys as soon as possible as I've never met such a nice bunch of people.
The gaiters kept my ankles and shins warm and cosy for miles. Recommend them too!!
Look forward to seeing you at the next days out
Gail
