Day at the races, Italy

Unusual trip, too pressed for time to ride all the way, but it worked out well. Visited the plot of our new house near Perth, then visited my parents in Newcastle before flying to Pisa, and on to Florence.

Day at the races, route home

Postby GRAgusta » Thu Jun 12, 2014 1:19 am

We then headed home via Grasmere, Loch Voile, and Glenshee.

Hated riding in middle England - constant 50mph speed cameras and average speed of 38mph. But A52 from Bradford north was great, as was Kirkstone Pass and the A7.

Scott Reading was generous with his time, we asked him what he thought of Marc Marquez, he was very open and said that he - Marc - was challenging them all to raise their game to be at 120% or more all the time ... but "you need more than an RCV1000R (privateer spec) to prove how hard you're trying".

Jorge Lorenzo made young Marquez prove how hard he is trying in the race on Sunday.
