Good point, well made, but in all seriousness, it only extends about a foot and a half in front of the tyre. I only use it on quiet roads, and wouldn't consider mounting it in places with too many people around.

I love those 360 shots Paul but the moment at 2.24, oh dear never mind, when I saw Richard I immediately thought Gromit but now I see who ‘‘twas” lol

Nice video and trip Paul. I used panniers once on a long weekend to Wales. I hit two cars, a tree, a frame on the entrance of a perimeter wall and my mates bike in a similar fashion to Richards collision with you but I took his indicator off. Never again. I sold them on my return! Great looking GS BTW.
