Depreciation ....

when we're bemoaning the state of the market that's bringing down prices at present it's interesting to note that some are feeling the pinch even more

This is a 60 reg and I'm guessing with all the bits and bobs etc it's approaching 50% depreciation by the time you factor in what's going to be "offered", which given it's age and mileage is a bit painfull, if I had the pennies it would be sitting in my garage pronto :)

I'd love one of them - and at that price, makes a lot of bikes look overpriced.............

Would it take panniers?.................... :?

Know you half jest Al, but it's one of the RC's few faults, seen it debated/discussed on a few places, and seems there's nowt on the market just now that fits (well) Hate wearing a rucksack, but for this I'd live with it :)
I've got a Cargo Endurance tail-pack on the R11, am pretty sure I could make it fit the RC too 8)

Take a trip to the TT................

Lots of foreign sports bikes with some very clever "occasional" luggage frames fitted.

Even if you had to make your own Ventura side tubes to suit their bag mount - could be done?

My garage is full, I'm afraid.................

Fantastic bike, and at that money...

Love it to bits and wouldn`t mind one in my garage anyday, have to look at it side on though, I do find that headlamp arrangement somewhat cosmetically challenged?

RC8 is a great bike....I would say that I have one. One of the reasons I just bought the 1100S was to do some touring 2 up as the RC8 is certainly not built for that!

£8K for a new 2010 model so in some ways I'll be surprised if he gets £6.5 for it.

He'd be better taking the aftermarket kit off, returning the bike to standard and selling separately (if he has the original kit) to maximise the return.

How little for a new one?

That said - the secondhand bike might appeal to those who don't have £8K.
