Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

'Twas a larf. I'm amazed at their determination to get the job done. The wheels are a work of Mecanno art - even if a bit of repairing was needed.

Felt for the officer who drew the short straw and had to escort it. How it got a roadworthy certificate was beyond me, that aside the resolve to create that out of playstuff was quite extrordinary.

It was correct of May to acknowledge the" human" sacrifices as well as their achievements.
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Was it not on IOM? I think the authorities there - are a lot more "forward thinking" than UK Ltd.

So how do you define a mechano bike?
He didn't use mechano motors or control sytems or batteries.
Or tyres for that matter.
Or lights.
Over the hill and picking up speed on the long downhill to death.

Just watched it on I Player. That was very cool. I was very surprised how well it did on the meccano motors, no way it was going to tackle the mountain without the 'back up' motor though.

I think it could be tuned for a 6 hour lap with some work! :P
