Sorry Paul, currently at work in Morocco, otherwise I could certainly have "been there". Hope you find your witnesses.

I was thinking the same thing myself, sadly I didn't witness my bike being knocked over into Paul's either, just heard it and then saw the end result

As Paul say's, any witnesses would no doubt help our cause

Thanks, Geoff

Many thanks guys

I have been in touch with the insurance company and made clear my intent to go after the guy who caused the whole thing. He is insured wit the same broker and company as I am.

Rossy, my intention is to go after their third party claims department and NOT go via my own insurance company. The legal team are supporting me in this and it eradicates the requirement to have a claim on my own policy and secondly i can request a cash i lieu payment, which means that you can claim the cost of the parts but not the labour, do the work yourself (if you wish) and have no need to declare any claims as it is entirely down to the third party

That sucks. Glad you know who the guy is though, and it's getting sorted.

I had a no fault bump from a guy who was with my insurance company. It got sorted super quick, but my renewal was higher after, even though I claimed from his insurance, not mine.

Unfortunatly, now your insurance knows about it, I think it'll be on your record regardless of making a claim either way. :(
