I'm sure it'll be a nice enough bike but personally I'd rather look at something like a Yamaha MT-09 Tracer...for knocking on 4 grand less.

BMW sold out imho by losing Telelever - one of the things I love most about the earlier bikes.

My friend picked up his new Tracer this week to replace the 1050 sprint he stacked. He is very impressed. Yamaha are really hitting the mark with that platform.

Seems that way, Herb - I nipped into Webbs in Lincoln this morning for some oil and had a quick look at a Tracer. Looks a very sweet package indeed - as I was there, some chap came in and took the Webbs MT-09 out for a demo ride which, equipped with an Akra pipe, sounded fabulous.

I agree. The under seat exhaust would really set it off.

Maybe in a couple of years now.
I've gone and bought a new S1000r so need to let that depreciate a bit more before I think about buying another one.
The RS12 was on the cards, but the S1krs really lit me up

Hmmmmmmm :? Sell the HP2 to fund one of these? Er....no!

Sell the BCR and chuck another £7K in the pot.....maybe?

That said, I would deffo look at a second hand Multistrada as well.
