Sounds more like HM prison to me.

Still looks very second hand and is not his usual self,
I don't suppose you managed to measure his feet, did you (surreptitiously - when he was scoffing his grapes..............)

I told him that everyone on here was thinking of him and he said
"diolch yn fawr iawn"
so I said "thats right mate, cough it up" and I got him a glass of water
Hope you get well soon mate.

Made me chuckle!
I thought that flu was more a winter time sickness. Missing out on all this warm rain eh? Just unlucky i guess.
Get well soon Steve or all your new brake discs will be rusting up!
Your health
I know a few people who had endured this awful illness, but on the bright side, all have been full of life when they have got over it. So, get well soon and look forward to more 'entertainment' on those lovely Welsh roads.

Thanks guys
I came out of the hospital on the weekend, feeling much better now that I have no fever.
Still feeling incredibly weak and breathless but that'll pass with rest and time I guess.
I'm fighting to get bike fit for the 15 August as I have my Scottish tour booked

That's great news, Steve, under the circumstances (best not starting from there in the first place). It is a slow old recovery from pneumonia, but don't overdo it and you'll get there. Not experienced it myself, but saw my dad laid low with it many years ago - it's no picnic.
I wish you well for Aug 15th - the Scottish air will do you good (if it's not persisting down). I'm hoping to be touring Scotland with an old school friend about then too - just waiting for a weather window.
