I guess if it has the stickers then it must have belonged to a "regular" here?

Aha

It's had at least one careful owner......:wave:

I traded it in at Oxford BMW for my GS in 2006, it was in quite nice condition then, and I think it still looks good in the photos.

Why is it a project?

Hi Archie ~ it looks good from a distance but up close it's covered in low grade corrosion which I will put right. What was the mileage when you traded it, do you remember? H

It had about 14k on it when I traded it.

I'd also replaced a lot of bolts with stainless.

The S has finally arrived at her new home here in the Costa Tropical, Spain. Immediately took her to the garage, inflated the tyres and filled the tank with 98RON and took her for a spin. Just as I remembered but the throttle bodies need balancing and the tyres are 8 years old :shock: Plus there's a lot of corrosion to sort out. Other than that she's a beaut :D

Ha ha Steve , I'm going to be living there soon ... and most probably a few trips back and forth from Ross on Wye to my apartment there on my bony !!!
