They do seem to be using a bit more of the road than they are entitled to

Didn't see any particularly remarkable riding there.
Perhaps I missed it

Riding 'off road', on road tyres is a feat in itself but she wasn't messing about round that last corner and not many blokes would do that speed, round that corner, on that bike

Agreed....I know more than a few who wouldn't feel comfortable riding like that on those dirt tracks (I wouldn't!). They're both good riders.

People who tackle off road on those humungous and heavy 1200GS's impress me.
The 9T is low and compact, and whilst not a true off roader, should still be fairly easy to hussle on the dirt tracks,

Riding a big boxer on a trail like that is impressive, but I can't imagine it being much fun compared to riding a real offroader.
IMHO Modern "scramblers" or "adventure bikes" are really just for Dirt roads not offroad. I'd hate to be riding one around the paddock or up a mountain.

Round the back of my loca dealers there's a steep grass bank that's about 6 meters.
I wasn't there, but I heard that one of the guys got a 9T scrambler up there in one hit.
Now that is impressive.
May not sound like much, but if you saw that bank you'd be impressed too.
