Ignorance ?

Several times in the last few years I've been asked where I got the fairing on my bike !

I explain that my R1100S is bog stock standard .....

And I'm looked at as if I've crawled out of the cheese ..

How many others have experienced this ?

I did once get a comment from an old chap in regard to my 9T.
He was very complimentary, and said it's great to see people still building their own bikes.
Erm
