You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Re: Yesterday
Hi Gang
Many thanks for your support. I now need a new helmet. Seventeen operations have altered the shape of my head and my Shoei and HJC are now so uncomfortable. Going to Boston in the next few day to buy another one. Sportsbikes Direct I fancy a Nolan with a removable chin bar and a drop down sun visor. But who knows if I spot a horrible paint scheme at a bargain price I am easily persuaded to spend less being a Yorkie. I think Jedburgh will be
my debut in whatever helmet I decide upon. Looking forward to getting out and about. I plan to go to my next consultants appointment suited and booted on the 1200R. No fool like an old fool but t least I can carry it off being a pre war model.
Thanks again
Alan

Alan, we're all old fools .... and getting older and more foolish by the minute, and long may it last

Re: Yesterday
Well "HE" has been out on his bike again today --Out on his own trying his new helmet out, Happy with it he tells me (Flip Front Givi) so I think we can say that he's back and will be seen on his bike in 2018.

Nicely done, one of the better bikes BMW makes and congrats. Regarding new kit. Wait a bit and go to the NEC to try and pick up some bargains and have a look around. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
