That time of year

Postby boxerscott » Sat Dec 16, 2017 11:58 pm

So cabin fever is striking hard, especially to someone who does not ride as much as one would like, Xmas a great time to buy new and a great time to sell old. Do not think I will be able to resist the call of the wild. indulgence is starting to squeeze.

No pockets in a shroud.

So are you looking out for something small, sexy, red and Italian?
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Yes, it would have to be red this time round.

Al, not three bikes permanently however the short day blues do need lifting! The 1200r is our two up choice for the near future but the sportsbike thing is unpredictable. Life's short, not going to go mainstream at any time soon.

Looking forward to Wales

We deal with the "short day blues" in a slightly different way in this house, recently got back from visiting friends in OZ, and off to Thailand early Feb where I have a bike booked to do a 6 day road trip along the Mekong river and mountains in the north and 5-6 days on an island beach after. :D
Been tidying the XT up a bit, seat recovered, fork seals sorted and forks stiffened up a bit, got new decals to fit and some sticky tyres to buy, hopefully get out on it a bit over the next week, feels like a Mini moto after getting off the GS!!

Merry Christmas to all, hope to see the usual gang in Wales.
