Boxer to Boxster

Postby John Coles » Tue Dec 05, 2017 7:47 am

So I will continue to drop in here now and again but over the Christmas holidays I will part ex my BCR for a car. Finally found a dealer who would offer me a sensible price: one exchange offered me £1500! And a West Country bike dealer who already has one up at over 7 grand offered me £2500 straight cash what a mine field.

Sure is a mine field when trying to sell a bike out right. Enjoy the boxster (the car that saved Porsche).

Good luck with the switch to the Boxster. One of mates bought a 10 year old one, and it's become a bit of a money pit for him, but he still loves it.

All the best,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Hi Taz already owned previously the first one to save them the 924S fantastic car that handled really well but prices going nowhere and it was at the stage of needed more regular use than I can give it. Paul, I hear what you are saying this one has really low mileage so I am hoping it will last until I retire then I can call it a project or hobby so throwing money at a hobby don't count: you need to back me up on this guys! I am thinking of applying to be on the next series of Mastermind specialist subject 'Investment Opportunities that Weren't t '

So car paid for bike collection next Monday bumbling all over UK during Christmas and will see how I get on with Boxster standard 2.5 so this might be the first stepping stone to an Audi R8 via Audi TT 240 Sport quattro 3.2S Boxster and AMG 55 SLK any other recommendations to take in on this epic journey? I prefer torque in pref to revs so Honda S2000 does not work for me... so many cars. I have never driven so little time wife might wish she let me keep the bike :D
