folk who tell porkies ....

Postby GerryB » Tue Jul 10, 2018 9:31 am

When I was back in UK for a few days , I popped past a big dealership.
I'm not going to name them , because to be fair, it was probably one know it all idiot working there .

Asked at the parts counter if there was a different head light for the EU.

I was told on good authority that all BMW bikes have a flat light .....

And this was perfectly acceptable in EU countries !!!

Well guess what , my bike failed the ITV yesterday , the beam kicks up to the left .

So , now I have to buy a lamp from EU for the bike .

I was so angry , but there you are , once again bull sh1tted by an "expert" ....

It seems so hard these days to find some one who is actually knowledgeable and honest ....

many more modern BMW bikes have flat beam headlights.

The easy way to check is to go to Realoem.com and see if only one part number is listed
