Hello All
Just taken ownership of a 2000 R1100s that came complete with BMW panniers - I'm in that honeymoon period where I care about the fact that the panniers are a little scuffed . Anyone have any suggestions on how I can tidy them up to look like new?
Best

lid scuffs can only really be painted to make them look better.
"Greying" of the plastic can be "renewed" by using coarse peanut butter

Re: Restore panniers
i have a set of brand new panniers for 1100S - availble for purchase
only done 20km which was the ride home from the dealer.
Got them last year as part of an insurance claim
Dealer told me there were now only 3 sets in the world left
Interested?
I think we can do a reasonable price

ok, no worries.
Autoglym products I think are the best, but for scratches and the like, I am not sure

Peanut butter is cheaper and does work, much to my surprise, but you have to put up with the sickly smell afterwards.
And I hate peanut butter ever since I first tried it in 1970 on my first trip to the states.

Not necessarily, I have their vinyl renewer and it's not particularly good and their rim cleaner / de-greaser is absolutely worthless. Returned mine to halfords and got meguiars hot rim cleaner instead which is the best one I've ever tried, don't think anything on the market beats that one!
