Will BMW ditch telelever?

Only two models wear it these days R/GS and RT. They have seen fit to introduce traditional forks to the Naked R and RS. Will they persevere with it?

The GS IS telelever, and Telelever IS GS

A major factor in what separates it from the herd.......

Will always be thus.

Would they be ditching it because of public perception or are there practical / cost reasons too ?

Some point in time they will, at the moment market forces dictate, everybody seems to want a GS Boxer, if it aint broke don`t fix it. I reckon the RT will lose it before the GS. It adds bulk to the front end spoiling the natural position for the radiator. The RT is a bit of a fat lad and could do to have a new set of clothes. I am not sure that telelever is better or worse than traditional teleforks but one thing is for sure no other marque uses it.

The GS carries the telelever well, the R did not and looks way cooler without it. The RS would not look as sporty as it does with telelever.

I am thinking telelever maybe for the pipe and slippers boys... sorry I meant bmw purists.
