Emptied garage, swept out and hung up bike posters and trackday photos - atlast   Hung up everything else I could outta the way including pushbikes and laid some carpet for the bikes to sit on

Excellent John!

I've even gone to the depravity that is gardening..... those who know me well know I don't do gardening … but needs must!

Sadly I've run out of port, single malts, cognac so have now dug out a bottle of Southern Comfort I've had for years …. times are hard and that liver's not going to screw itself!!!!

I can see and feel that this thing is driving us all up the wall. I have done amazing things in my garden, herculean in fact , no mini diggers either! I have never had such a tan in April before.. I have excavated 2m3 of top soil, sieved it twice 10mm and 6mm carefully placed it and graded it to fill in undulations on my grass, seeded it all , netted it. prior i killed and removed 2 years of Moss filling 3 x1 cubic yard dumpy bags. I have hoed, cultivated my borders. Put in summer bulbs and specimens. Cracked on fitting shingles to my Oak gazebo. Fcuked my Knee (again) and my Belle mini mix which needs new motor parts after 28 years!

I have bought a rear wheel for my racer (cast r1200r 1st gen. one) pondered on paint scheme for the tubeless rims. Put oil in the racer and new filter. It`s ready to go. I have listened daily to LBC, Five Live and Radio 4 become an expert on how to give the same answer to any question posed at the daily briefings before said politician opens lips. Filled Jedburghs bottle bank... twice. Stayed married (remarkable!) Surprisingly I have not missed Rugby, Moto GP, Footie ,Cricket Tennis or any of the celeb shite we normally get. Which just shows how irrelevant it really is. Bought a Fake Taxi baseball cap. We have zoomed with a regular Sat night family quiz. Face timed more with grand bairns, missing the 3 lads like mad, thankfully covid has not claimed any mates, family or known ones. Coming round to the realisation that our annual Spain tour is going to go down the Gary Glitter too.

John, My favourite tipple is Ale. Pasteurised cask ale from Tempest Brewco known as Long White Cloud. Bottles of Williams Double Joker, Andrews Brewery.. Shipwreck. Brewdog... any of them, getting into the 10pc abv range. Quality not quantity. Some fantastic Scottish beers on our doorstep. Ipa`s and Apa`a.

Keep on keepin on!

Fortunately, I have been working during the lockdown, I've pretty much been working from home since last October and have enough to keep me busy. I appreciate that I’m very lucky.

So, most of what I’ve been up to is at the weekends with a few, cough cough, quiet week days thrown in.

Tidied the garage, needs doing again now

:hello1: Great pics. That wire trellis is a great idea, did you get it tight enough  and those wood stores look very good too. Makes me very happy to see a car off road, no matter what it is but especially when it looks tough enough to be off road and yours does.

I love a 'Felix' cat, black and white cats have always been my fav, unfortunately I'm allergic to cat fur and so can't stroke or touch them with out coming out like i've got the worst attack of hay fever, infant I just have to be in the same house and I'm affected - not nice so I just look at pussies now    Love the pic of the cat with the daisy chain, gorgeous 8) and you've got an Agar - awesome, is that what the wood is for or is it for a wood burner or regular fire or all of the above :?: I've seen a pig's cock having lived and worked on a farm in a previous life and they are weird but no one will ever believe I've seen a cat with a triangular cock !

Thanks John, the cats are both a bit special. The upside down one is very laid back but his brother makes up for it, non stop all day (or night) then just keels over like his batteries have ran out! He recently discovered rabbits in the field next door and brings them back onto the lawn to play!

Trellis was a fun job but getting the wire to the correct length so the turnbuckle would tighten it was a bit of a pain.

The car is a Suzuki Ignis 4x4 (its no Range Rover but ok off road) and so far very pleased with it.

Aga is an oil burner, previous house owners told us its from 1938 but still going strong, wood is for wood burners. Had the Aga serviced and the chap reckons they just go on for ever so fingers crossed.

BTW, how did you get so many great pics in one post, I got to 15 and that's all the site would allow?

Dave
