Mallory Park 1990

Postby BoxerCup R » Sun May 10, 2020 6:55 am

Went to Mallory Park in July 1990 to see the Norton's kick everybody's arse in the British Superbikes. Yes, I know it wasn't a level playing field but god they were loud and fookin fast :bounce:

A full race rotary engine is something else alright. Locally the only time I'd ever get to hear a rotary was when some mad rally driver fitted a Mazda version to a MK11 Ford Escort or RWD Toyota Starlet. .

Yes John you're right, it is Slick Bass, Foggy's mechanic later on.
Also Ron Williams from Maxton (grey hair) in the second photo, who was given the shove in the IOM and Derek Chittenden from Hejira brought in for rider Steve Cull.
