We are back!

Postby Paul » Mon Dec 07, 2020 5:00 pm

Folks,

A million apologies for the site being down since Saturday morning. It was all caused by: 1) an expired credit card; 2) an over zealous ISP; 3) email warining of impending doom not arriving. Suffice to say, all should now be well again.

It does look however as though we may have lost a few days of posts, prior to the site being taken down. Apologies to anyone posting or registering last week, since that info will be lost.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Hi Paul, thanks for sorting it all out.
It does remind me you fund the site so I've made a donation of £10 to the running costs and would encourage others to do likewise.
There is a sticky post in Boxerbanter for donations - it's easy!
Boxertrix is a great resource in so many ways, and an absolute bargain! :D

Many thanks again.

Have no idea what a cache is, or how to clear it Paul, but the link which wasn't, now is working and not taking me elsewhere, even though I didn't do anything.

Thanks for all your efforts and I guess I will be ordering t shirts and donating asap.
As it is only right to support the best bunch of people I have met in biking since the lads I used to race with decades ago.

Thank you guys.Your kind words and financial contributions are all very much appreciated. There have been quiet periods on the site when I have wondered whether there is any life left in it, but as long as we keep chatting and meeting, it still fulfils a useful purpose. Your contributions clearly signal that it is worth keeping the lights on.

Cheers,

Paul

Hey Paul, it’s not time yet to put DNR on this site. Plenty of life in it for the years to come.
It has been many years  since I last made my one and only contribution to the site. Having no idea of running costs, would it be in order to ask you what would be a helpful contribution from a poor member here?
Of course I would deduct VAT, a handling fee plus browbeat you down somewhat for a discount.
Cheers.

When the site went off line , several queries popped up on the 2 face book pages , asking what had happened !!

Yes Paul, I think this site is still very much alive .

I don't post too often , but I pop in at least once a day for a look see !

Thank you .
