Very nice. As a previous R1200RS owner, I confidently predict that you will love it.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

For somebody who struggles to adjust the clock on a GS the amount of “tech” on this going to be a challenge!!
Might need a couple of new stickers.

I test rode an RS but felt the riding position was too far forward compared to the GS, the R felt more like the GS just lower which is why I want to change bikes as I was struggling with the height of the GS even after having it lowered, plus with the R you can rotate the bars.

Private sale in Bideford, joined the 1200r FB site, said I was looking for one & the guy messaged me. Just about every option fitted, luggage, Akra end can, still in the box!, 3 owners but only 8600 miles. Haven’t got rid of GS yet but sold everything off it. Away for a couple of weeks, have to have a ride up when I get back.
I was intending to have a road trip in the van as most of the bikes I was looking at are all up north so this one was a bonus.

To be honest Al we’ve done virtually no biking these last 2 years, but K still loves the Z9 and my 12 isn’t going anywhere, I’m going to put the F8 for sale very soon as it’s just sitting in the garage.
I shall look forward to seeing your new steed in the flesh and hope it’s everything you need and want :D
