All change part two.

Postby MickB » Thu Feb 08, 2024 2:57 pm

I have met a few of you in person at the Scottish weekend in 2021. The rest of you, I have enjoyed reading your various thoughts, comments and general snippets of mainly useful advice about the 12S. I am moving to Portugal to retire in a few weeks time. There are a lot of positives to this decision but I must say that post Brexit, importing a UK bike is not one of them. It is a complicated and potentially expensive process. I can't bring myself to let my classic Ducatis go, so they are coming along for the trip. The 12S and the RC8R are up for sale

I wouldn't say its a mid life crisis, bit old for that but I do fancy a change of scenery and a little bit of challenge before I'm too set in my ways.

Thanks once again for the advice and humour and when the weather turns again enjoy your selves.

I can see the attraction!

Lots of great biking roads there and in Spain - and the weather is the cherry on top.

Good luck with it all.
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

Best of luck for your relocation to sunnier climes.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Found it https://www.ktmforum.co.uk/threads/2011-rc8r-for-sale-orange-and-white.1397205/. Local too!

I'll keep repeating 'I do not need another RC8!'

Good luck with the sale and the retirement.

So Envious, The bikes are not important. They sell them in Iberia to! Sounds great. Enjoy your retirement.
