Can someone please tell me the average charge for a major and minor service for the S please.

my 24k service cost £440 at South London BMW... I think the 48k on my old r1100r was over £500... but i was under the impression from gromit that you did all your work yourself... or are you branching into servicing for the next couple of months...? :shock:

I do do all my own servicing etc.I'm doing my accounts and my accountant has asked for servicing prices! :shock:

in that case - bmw south london told me to expect a bill of £500 for the 24k on the s, but it only came to £440... and then they very kindly ended up doing another 2 pages worth of work... under warranty - thank god!! :shock:

Bottom line - £110 for a minor service / £210 major service. Based on Rods figures you could easily double those figures.
Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.

Sounds like South London are a bunch of ******* ripoffs. £130 minor 6k £240 major 12k is more like it. You must be paying for the privilege of living in our wonderful capital.
