For you guys up for the Burton do!! talk to uncle Reg nice maybe he can organise a trip to Pidcocks,i hear the launch is May 13,not sure if that includes the 1200,didn't ask!!

The launch of the R1200S is scheduled for the 13th May. I'm surprised BMW haven't been asked to attend the Burton meet with a fleet of demo bikes for everyone to try out :lol:

The advert for the 1200S in Ride .......... signals a huge leap forward from its 1100cc predecessor ............... with nowhere to put any panniers ........

Great, you get there quicker but no change of clothes, etc.

The 800 will sell shed loads the 1200 will go the same way as the cruiser and C1!!!,two years tops.

On current BMW build quality I don't think one would last 2 years
