Who's Geoff?

Postby sproggy » Mon Jul 24, 2006 9:12 am

Came out of work on Friday and some scumbag had been littering on my bike

A scrappy bit of paper stuck under the filler cap lock flap - something to do with a boxer called trixy or similar. He'd even signed it on the back - Geoff. What is the world coming to when our bikes aren't safe from being molested in this way?

Anyway, mine's the pheonix grey '02 model with a butt-ugly red-topped box on the back (the other half who I commute with likes the security of a topbox behind her), parked behind Sainsbury's in Camden.

On a different subject, is anyone else doing the BMW Club trackday at Mallory tomorrow? Fun though it's bound to be, spending the day dressed in leather when the weather's this hot doesn't appeal much..... :tongue1:

Guilty as charged, m'lud. I'd better order one before the bike disappears under a pile of paper slips

Errr,, that'll be me then Sprogy,.... Geoff,.. AKA 'BockingBandit',.. AKA 'Blue88', AKA 'Very Slow Courier'. I 'Ticketed' 3 'S's'on Friday,.. various parts of the UK, .. and none with 'Boxertrix' stickers.

Has anybody seen the R1200S currently on the angled display-stand in Park Lane BMW (W1)?. It's the Red/Silver Striped one,.... at 45 degrees,.. it looks even more like Bertie Bassett should be riding it.

Geoff. BockingBandit. Blue88

I did. Was told I'd receive an email telling me how to make payment (sounds dodgy - used notes in a brown paper bag in the top of the litter bin on the corner of the high street by the post office?) but I'm still waiting.

Don't say I didn't try.... Or is 'Paul the Shop' on holiday at the moment?

Sorry mate, I've been somewhat distracted by a new job... I'll e-mail you details of where to leave the brown paper bag real soon now...

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
