Ade, agree with your comments on the ST. Absolute blinding bike and totally planted. Within 5 miles I was cornering as fast as on my GS.

However......(screen goes hazy, music from the "Magnificent Seven" begins to play, initially very faintly but rising to an orgasmatical crescendo)......I've fallen in love. ......

Went to my favourite bike shop this weekend (the one where I get all my, and your, tyres) and they had a blue & white GSXR600 on display. The new one. ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! Has anybody ever built a more beautiful bike (pax Terreblanche) I must have it!!!

In the interim I've finally got the Speed Triple rideable and I took it out last weekend on the Cognac run ( !) and it performed rather well. Only thing I discovered was that you have to keep the thing pointed where you want to go otherwise it'll sling you in the ditch. None of this just-rest-your-hands-on-the-bars-and-let-the-machine-do-the-work, if I'd done that I'd be pushing up the daisies (after having ploughed them into the ground). Nope, it's a case of grabbing the beast by the horns and wrestling with it. A hoot though. Front tyre was red hot at the end of the day.

Last weekend of the year's coming up and I've still got slots. Check your diaries: 15-19 September. Two weeks away. G'wan, you know you want to

:D :D :D

Bugger
I hate it when Dealers phone me after Ive had a few beers. Was up at "stormin the casdtle this weekend" and Jeffries called, Offerred £837 quid off the 12s, plus gave me a fair price for my GS. I only went and agreed to have one didnt I?

Now waiting for Carol to come home so I can allow her to start divorce proceedings.

Black, Ohlins, wider wheel, grips

APPARENTLY, BMW are meant to be developing luggage for the 12s, using the same poanniers as available for teh k1200s and r. Anyone else heard that?
