I'm a big fan, more of their earlier stuff, but I would love to see them live.

so...

a few closet fans - hurrah!

Well - the new album "Snakes & Arrows" is out May 1st 2007.

the first single "Far Cry" is already on iTunes

the tour starts in the UK in October - Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield, London (2 nights), Birmingham and back to Manchester - and, by the way I'm going to the Sheffield, London Brmb & Manchester!

And - I may be able to get hold of an extra couple of tickets - possiby 1 for Sheffield, and 2 for Manchester.

Anyone interested @ face value pricing? (if possible)

The drummer Neil Peart wrote an excellent book called 'Ghost Rider' about a long motorcycle journey round North America he made after the death of his wife. Well worth reading.

I believe they rarely tour outside of the States these days. Although
they done a European tour for their 30th anniversary last year or the
year before.
I think the Ghost rider trip that Neil done was on a Harley down through
South America ?? Apparently he lost his daughter as well.

Hi

As detailed in previous posts....

http://www.rush.com/resources/popups/euInfo.html

& You're right, Neil Peart tragically lost his daughter and then his wife approx. 1 year later - many believe through a broken heart at the loss of their daughter.

These caused the group not to write or record for some 5 years.

However they came back in '04 with R30 (the 30 years of Rush tour), and are now embarking on the Snakes & Arrows tour - commencing USA, then Canada, UK, Holland, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden & Finland.
