motorway blow out!!

just to sing the praise of the 180 rear section tyre on my boxer cup .
i had a blow out on the motorway (m27 near fareham i was the sad lookin bloke sat on the hard shoulder) lane 3 70mph honest guv..
but all was ok felt a bit of a wobble and moved over to stop top find a flat i am convinced it was because of the tyre width anyone got any 225's!!!

Amazing how the tyre stays on rim when deflated. My rear tyre punctured (3of) somewhere on M18 heading down to Notts. It was only when i left M1 at J25 that i realized it was completely flat! I thought the bike felt weird at lower speeds put it down to a funny headwind!! I still rode it on to my destination in Beeston. No wheel damage, no visible side wall damage-- very strong structure.

In my several and varied rear punctures, one was on the M25 - only noticed when slowing to get onto the A2... another was 2 up, noticed slowing for traffic lights.

Other times I've just come back to a bike sat on its rear rim...


Anyone ever had a front puncture - I imagine that would be exciting.
