Fairing transfers, paint codes 04 Cup

Postby boxerscott » Sun Aug 12, 2007 6:54 pm

Further to my off at Mallory as posted on this forum I have now got the prices of the bits and bobs that were damaged. You will not be suprised to learn that BMW demand a sizeable wedge and to mitigate the damage to my wallet I maybe able to have the r/h under seat panel restored to its former glory as it is only scuffed on the blue part of its outermost edge with other damage to the big s of the transfer logo. My question is does anyone know the paint codes for this bike? Does anyone know who produces the transfers for this Bike? As you can imagine with 18.5K miles some of the transfers are giving up at leading edges particularly on the bellypan. The paint on the bellypan is also past its best.

Hi... I hope this may be helpful.... Rydales of Cardiff were recently selling off all the BMW bike stock..... they were getting out of bikes, I believe. I boought the right hand side fairing transfers off ebay from them.... cost £7.45 brand new inc. postage... BMW price £72 new. Might be worth a try there????

Good luck
