It has been a good weekend for adding miles to the machine, all seemed to be going well. This morning though - and I found out what it is to ride in a force five/six wind in Thanet, is this Ivan? - I noticed the brake light is stuck on.
Is this a typical quirk, or have I got a sticky switch? AND, where is the blighter, I suspect it's buried under the ABS unit somewhere, or similarly deep so I cant get a mallet to it easily.
And speaking of high winds, as I am six foot, even with the 'high screen', I feel that I am being slapped with a wet kipper from the blast off the screen. What is the best cure?
Thank you fellow riders!

Rear is micro switch and more prone to complete failiure+ also quite expensive.
Don't try any temporary repairs.....just replace them.

I've probably got a 2nd hand rear switch on the wreck in the garage if you're interested

Ran out of time yesterday to locate the switches.
Thank you Bailey! My instinct was to go for the rear, natty little micro, the operating lever trapped behind the adjustable bolt. Except mine wasn't! The lever had been pulled out and was snagged on the threads of that bolt, holding it 'on'. Now how did it get there? A real mystery considering how tucked away that switch is. All is well now.
Jason, thanks for the offer.
