I have several around the house, a couple turn on table lamps in the living room. Means coming home the house doesn't appear empty and of course security is enhanced. One turns a fan heater on in the bedroom to take any chill off the room in the mornings, and a couple in the garage for battery tweaking etc
Steve your forgetting about one of my other little hobies i know all about timers i have loads knocking about it was just a misshap
You have just given me a brilliant idea that will be of use to those that have power in their garage instead of having the maintenance charger running 24/7 have it on for a couple of hours a week that should save some electric consumption and also allow the charger to cool down therefore extending it's life[ i don't know what happens if one goes wrong but with nearly everything electrical being made in china i would think a fire could be possible in the worse case cinareo[spelin] ]
You will need to get a digital timer for this but there not expensive and another bonus is they have a built in battery so they still keep time even if the power goes off for a few hours or you have to disconnect them for any reason
