Hello I am new

Postby paulus63 » Wed Sep 04, 2013 2:59 pm

Hi.
I have a BMW model 1100 Sport.
The chain appears to be fully enclosed, so I was wondering how one lubricates the workings.
I hoep someone here can help me.
Yours.
Paul

I smell something fishy about this post, but I'll try and help out if I can:
I haven't done this major job myself, but if it's like my 4 year old's bike, you may have to take the stabilizers off to access the chain.....

Or turn it upside down and rest it on the handlebars ;)

Take no notice of them Paul

Your bike has three chains like all of our bikes they are all fully enclosed and lubricated by the engine oil you don't need to do anything to them

I am guessing you're from overseas

If the post is genuine and from overseas, then perhaps the translation was misinterpreted and the person is referring to "the transmission"? Namely, the shaft drive.

I'm sorry to that I offended people because I am new.
The chain is in the metal case so how is the lubrication performed,
I cannot take off the case easily.
