Hi Ron
How did you get on with the chip ? An update would be good.

Hi Al,

Who's Ron? Well since my last post I have been doing other bits and pieces to my bike (to be documented once complete) so apart from firing the bike up to check she fires, I have done no more to assess and review the chip.
Once I have been out, I will post my thoughts.

Cheers,

Rich

Sorry Rich
Don't know where Ron came from !
I wanted to venture out on mine today as I have just put a new battery in, but the roads were all wet with salt, so I took the KTM out instead.

No problem mate. I know how you feel, heavily salted roads are about the only condition I won't use the 11s in! Feels abusive! No doubt your ktm fairs better!
Cheers,
Rich

Update,
First run out since winter project. Was very windy so can't report too accurate.
Bike ran beautifully, no flat spots or surging. And I feel the power delivery picks up quicker, and smoother. Fuel economy yet to be checked, but I'd expect it to be improved.
Main difference to original chip, is at low revs, the bike felt like it had 'turbo lag', open throttle, vibes then got going. Now it just pulls immediately, no need to hold onto the revs for as long, change up slightly earlier and it pulls again.
Feels more rideable, perhaps more modern feel.
I'll post again once I've covered more miles.
Cheers,
Rich
