Stubborn Nut

Hi, Can anyone tell me the best method to undo the the lower front fork brace suspension nut, have tried heating the nut as per the workshop manual but it will not budge. Also I assume it's a right handed thread.

Go to the gym for 3 months. Make sure you give the upper body a good workout. Try again in 3 months time.

Heat it up again then put a 3 or 4 foot length of pipe onto the socket breaker bar to give you more leverage.
Probably better get a second pair of hands to stop the bike falling over too.

And when it goes "crack", you'll $hit yourself and wonder what you've broke - I think they all do that sir - mine did and I nearly $hit myself

Better use an hexagonal socket or a Metrinch one that applies force in the middle of the flats.Those corners don't look too happy.

Black, hexagonal impact socket 1/2" drive, 750mm long (minimum) breaker bar, someone sat on the bike, determined tug on bar.
Oyster. 1999 R1100S. Almost original.
