Why is it

Postby fontana » Wed Jun 07, 2017 12:53 pm

that when you're working on one area of your bike, something completely unrelated to what you were doing goes wrong.
I dropped out the back wheel and silencer unit off my 1100RS today to do a bit of cosmetic tidying
Got it all back together, turned on the ignition and have no power to fuel pump and starter motor.
 :x

:) That`s what happens when you start faffing, (cosmetic tidying) if it ain`t broke don`t fix it... is a good policy to follow

I have been there, done that and it is a royal pain in the ass.

The problem self rectified without me doing anything, which is even more annoying as I won't now be able to find out what it was.

Perhaps your bike is doing it to annoy you because it doesn't like you very much.

Thread locked.

Guys, please play nicely. Nobody is entertained or informed by the way these threads degenerate into insulting battles.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
