Swing arm bush/bearing replacement

Postby jmhill373 » Wed Jun 27, 2018 7:23 pm

Hi,

My R1200S passed it's MOT today after two years of standing idle. I've had an advisory that there is some play in the rear swinging arm.

How do I replace the bearings bushes, is it a big job?

Regards,

Jon

This YouTube video is a good demonstration of the process of swing arm removal & replacement on a R1200 https://youtu.be/BsS8y6YlbkM and this one fills the gap of bearing replacement https://youtu.be/CRfdTuQ65GE .
