!2 volt blanking plug

Postby MickB » Sun Jul 22, 2018 6:53 pm

Evening all,
Just removed some of plastics to retrieve a sat nav power cable for the previous owner. This was plugged into a connector on the loom. Is there a blanking plug available to close this off ? Looked on the parts fiche and can see no such thing. Electricians tape will do but a plug is better and more secure. Plug is located on the LHS of the fairing support arm on a 1200s. I can post a pic if required as I've not put the plastics back on yet.

Thanks

If it's on a R1200S then I think there was a cover on mine?

If not, look on the K1300S parts page, the same socket is next to the battery which is under a cover on the 'tank'. That had a blank plug in it and they are the same socket.

Hope that helps
